Anthony Petrello attended two different Universities, Harvard University and Yale University where he acquired a J.D degree from the School of Law and MS and Bs degrees in Mathematics respectively. His career journey begun the time he joined Baker and Mckenzie law firm in 1979. In the year 1986 to 1991, he served as the Managing Partner of the office of the company he worked located in New York.
In the year 1991, Anthony begun working at Nabors Industries as the Chief Operating Officer. After working for only one year, he became the President of Nabors Industry. In 2011 Anthony served as Chief Executive Officer of Nabors Industries. For nine years that followed, he also worked as the Deputy Chairman and retained the same position until June 2012.Nabors Industry is based in Hamilton, Bermuda and is one of the largest geothermal as well as natural gas drilling contractor around the globe. The company operates in various regions such as the United States of America, Africa the Far East and the Middle East. Anthony played a significant role in the growth of the firm that started as a small Anglo Energy to the mega-firm respected around the globe.
While Chairing the Board Members team of Nabors since the year 2011, Petrello also served as Director of Stewart and Stevenson, LLC. Besides, he served in other numerous positions such as Director to MediaOnDemand.com and current Director of Texas Children’s Hospital.Petrello had a total reimbursement for FY 2015 is $27,512,939. While serving as the Board of Trustees of Texas Children’s Hospital, Anthony had an opportunity to support programs in research in clinical areas which helped in addressing special needs children with neurological disorders.Unfortunately, the daughter of Anthony Petrello diagnosed with a common neurological ailment in babies called periventricular leukomalacia that was caused by insufficient oxygen or blood flow supply to the brain. As a result, the condition made her daughter to develop chronically damaged motor skills and delay issues.
