Cookbooks are useful tools for creating different types of recipes. However, they can also provide funny moments for people when they have been written by preschool aged children. That’s right, young kids between the ages of 3 – 5 have written a cookbook and it is simply one of the funniest things that you could ever read.
Why is the book so funny? The answer to this question has to do with the mindset of a preschool student. Preschoolers look at life from a lack of understanding and experience. Since they are so young, they do not have a realistic view of the world. They see the world through their limited frame of reference. Things like fantasy and make believe become real inside of a preschooler’s mind. This is why the cookbook is so funny.
For some recipes, students were telling people to add backpacks and dolls into their dishes. Some kids believed that their mothers made eggs from scratch and other children told readers that they should use one ingredient for their recipes. For example, one kid stated that the only ingredient they need to use for pancakes is salt. That makes absolutely no sense and that is why it is so funny. Kids just don’t see the world as we do.
The preschool cookbook was discovered by a Twitter User named Jordan Adams. He found out about the cookbook from his nephew Ethan. Huffington Post featured this story and stated that the Adams received 73,000 retweets and 180,000 likes once he posted the cookbook. This is another example about how young kids must be educated so they can see the world as it is and not as make believe. By the way, if you want to try some of these recipes; do so at your own risk.
